Originating from Chicago, Kristina began work as a freelance art director shortly after receiving a B.F.A. in visual communication. She specialized in brand development, marketing and content strategy, creative direction, graphic design and photo shoot production. Then, in 1999, she pursued her passion for photography and began shooting features for several Chicago area newspapers. A year later she moved to Nashville, where she is currently based, and continues to shoot for clients worldwide.
Kristina’s visual storytelling in her still and motion work embodies an authentic emotional connection with her subjects, a quirky sense of humor and a creative aesthetic, all influenced by her affinity for design and filmmakers like Bergman, Bertolucci, Antonioni, and Jarmusch.
