Portrait of two men wearing work safety uniforms and standing in front of a truck at George Dickel Whisky Distillery in Tennessee | Nashville, reportage, industrial, product, and brand story by Nashville editorial photographer Kristina Krug.
Two fellow workers take a break after filling whiskey barrels. George Dickel distillery, at the time of this commission, had fewer than 25 people responsible for its small batch hand-crafted barrel-aged whisky. At larger distilleries, pouring and dumping, cooking, and bottling are done simultaneously. At Dickel, pouring and dumping happened on alternate days, and other days included mowing and groundskeeping.
